Summay Al Khashab heads to television riddles

Egyptian actor Summaya Al Khashab will star in a new riddles show to be aired during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

 

Summaya was nominated by director Adel Makeen and writer Waleed Yousif, and Summaya said she is ?thrilled with the new and exciting opportunity.

 

She has been holding extensive work sessions with composers Mohammad Rahim, Walid Saed, Amro Mustafa, and Hani Abdul Kareem to complete the musical score for her first album, which she plans to release this summer season.

 

The actor has recorded most of the songs for the album, and has set aside two hundred thousand Egyptian pounds to film a new music video to be directed by Egyptian producer Nasr Mahrous.

 

Summaya has refused lucrative offers by production companies to buy exclusive rights to her music, one reaching as high as one million Egyptian pounds for a period of one year.

 

An array of rumors have been circulating about Summaya, such as she is pregnant, that she is divorced, or even that she is secretly married.


The rumor of her pregnancy came about when Summaya suddenly fainted while shooting the scenes of her last successful Ramadan television drama series "Raya and Iskeena." Those present mistakenly assumed that she was pregnant, and her fainting was a result of morning sickness.
