For the first time, Egyptian actress Summaya Al Khashab will have a face off with Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba in a new film, in which both will compete to win the love of actor Khaled Abu Al Najja.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, the new film is entitled “Al Sa’ada Bain Eidaik” (Happiness is in your Hands.) throughout the film, both ladies will hold singing performances.
On a different note, Summaya is furious over circulating rumors stating that disputes between her and her husband have led to a divorce.
Summaya stressed that she has a strong marriage, and that she is very happy with her husband.
The actress stated “I am always faced with such rumors that attack my personal life,” adding “I just wish those who create such ridiculous nonsense would leave my personal life alone and just concentrate on my professional one.”
Summaya has kept the identity of her husband a secret, claiming that “people do not need to know the details of my personal life.”
On the other hand, Nicole will make a public announcement in the next few days of her intent to marry a wealthy Egyptian businessman, or so circulating rumors claim.
A Lebanese satellite television channel first aired the story that Nicole will be tying the knot.
However, Nicole denied the story, stressing that for the time being she is too preoccupied with her career to consider marriage, and speculates that her move to Egypt instigated the rumor.
Nicole also reported that the crisis between her and producer Muhsin Jaber, owner of Alam El Phan Production Company, continues. A dispute erupted between Nicole and Muhsin after he repeatedly postponed the release of her upcoming album.
