Egyptian actor Summaya Al Khashab will begin filming her upcoming television drama ‘Nisaa La Ta’raf Al Nadam” (Women that know no regrets).
Actors Mai Izz El Din, Riham Abdul Ghafour, and Khaled Zaki will costar with Summaya in the drama directed by Wael Fahmi Abdul Majeed.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, the drama tells the story of three young women whose father has passed away, while their mother was sentenced to life in prison for killing a man who sexually assaulted her.
The film depicts how their relationships with men in their adult life suffer from the trauma.
On a different note, Summaya has announced that she will hold a fashion show for her own designs, created with her mother.
In addition to traditional Egyptian dresses her fashions will include styles for all tastes and ages, said Summaya, adding that becoming a fashion designer was her first dream before acting.
After the success she achieved in the recent Ramadan television drama series "Hadaeq Al Shaitan" (The Devil's Gardens) alongside prominent Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman, Summaya announced that she would never accept another leading role alongside Jamal or with 'Al Jabr' Production Company.
Summaya said that she felt cheated by having her role minimized and a number of her scenes deleted from the script, and replaced with scenes including Jamal.
The drama achieved a viewers and critics award for being one of the most poplar dramas during the holy month.
