Surprise birthday bash for Sabah
Amidst a group of close friends and relatives, Lebanese diva singer Sabah celebrated her birthday at the Comfort Hotel in Beirut, which is the permanent residence of the singer. Sabah was surprised by the party that was held without her knowledge and planned by her closest friends Joseph Ghraib and Carmen Akiki.
According to the London based Elaph, the party consisted of a group of very close friends and figures from the entertainment world. Among the guest were Algerian singer Fula, poet Elias Naser, Lebanese singer Jacqueline, Composer George Karam, and others. Sabah sang at the event alongside Fula and Jacqueline, and Elias recited a poem written especially for the singer and the happy occasion.
Not so long ago, the Egyptian embassy in Beirut held a big reception for the 52nd memory of the 23rd of July revolution. Important figures, political officials and stars from the Lebanese society attended the reception in addition to the Egyptian community in Lebanon.
One of the main highlights of the big event was a special performance by Sabah, who captivated the audience with her voice. Many other prominent artists took part in the celebration like legendary Lebanese singer Wade' Al-Safi, Najah Sallam, and Nihad Tarabeh.
Sabah has recently joined numerous artists and politicians in Lebanon and the Arab world through a new silicon-made statue that holds the number 50 in Ga’eita museum. The museum, located in Beirut, contains many statues of celebrities from Lebanon and the Arab world. The new statue of Sabah has been designed and programmed to sing one of Sabah’s famous songs for sixty seconds.
Sabah's replica statue was dressed in one of her genuine dresses. The blue dress was given to the museum by Sabah who said she wore that dress in on of Be'albak festivals. In addition to the statue of Sabah, the museum contains many celebrity personalities like president of Lebanon, king of Jordan, Egyptian president, George Bush, Bill Clinton and many others. – Albawaba.com
