The play writer, actor and director Talal Nasr Eddin has received an invitation from the Al Bait Al Arabi (Arab House) in the USA to stage his play Al Dik (Rooster) in San Francisco, according to the UAE daily Al Bayan.
The play written and directed by Nasr Eddin and costarring Zinati Qudsiyyeh and Qasem Malho has recently been staged as part of the Syrian National Theater shows for 2001 in Damascus.
The Arab House which is a non-governmental organization for the Arab community and Arab Americans has honored many unofficial Syrian figures including Dureid Lahham and Muna Wasef.
However, this is the first time for a Syrian governmental production to be hosted abroad -- Albawaba.com
