Rotana denies poaching Tamer Hosny to replace Amr Diab
Poor Amr Diab has been at the center of rumors about his record label for months. The Egyptian singing star was hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons about his alleged association with an Israeli businessman. Now Amr is facing down rumors that he is about to be replaced by production bigwigs who want an even bigger star on their books.
Production company, 'Rotana', apparently offered international star, Tamer Hosny, a million dollar contract to come over to their label but according to reports this week, they won't be replacing Amr any time soon. The suits at Rotana issued a statement this week saying Amr is a very important part of the company and reports of the star demanding an extravagant pay hike are unfounded.
