Egyptian singer Tamer Husni has been selected as the Ambassador of Arab children, under the patronage of the Arab League.
Arab League representatives said they chose Tamer because he is a unique singer, known for his concern regarding different social matters. The company ‘Salma Music’ will present the singer with an honorary award on 16 July.
Tamer is scheduled to give a performance in Alexandria, Egypt the same day.
In his new role Tamer is expected to perform at a number of charitable events for children and handicapped children. He will also present a number of songs for cartoons that aim to reach a young audience and provide guidance.
