Tamer Husni and Mohammad Hamaqi compete for Coca Cola
It seems that competition between Egyptian singers Tamer Husni and Mohammad Hamaqi is not limited to singing, but has included competitions in different fields, like choosing which product to represent commercially.
Sources have revealed that Tamer is most likely to become the new face for the international soft drink company Coca Cola. Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram had been the advertising face for the company and presented the song “Ad Dinia Hilwah” (The world is beautiful) to accompany the advertisement campaign that was launched by the company.
According to the London based Elaph, the company had sent out special invitations to the media to attend a press conference in Dubai to announce the new face for the product. The invitation did not state the singer that was chosen, and only stated that it was a young Egyptian singer who enjoys great popularity in Egypt and the Arab world.
The press conference will take place at the Arab Tower hotel, and it is not known whether the singer implied in the invitation is Tamer or Hamaqi.
