There’s a first time for everything, and Mustafa Al Khani is ready to break his own rule of thumb. The Syrian actor, who usually only takes one show per year, found two extra roles just too tempting to turn down this time around.
According to Sayidaty.net, Mustafa will be acting in a traditional Syrian drama, a comedy and a modern drama making his roles very diverse.
The first drama Mustafa stars in is the modern "Haerat" (Confused) for director Samir Hussein, playing the role of 'Ragheb' who’s got a touch of crazy and suffers from different psychological issues. Every attempt to fix his troubles only, of course, leads him into even bigger ones.
The second show "Hammam Shami" (Syrian Bath) is a comedy where Mustafa takes on the character of 'Khartoush', a very bright and kind dude. 'Khartoush' gets released from prison and begins work in a traditional Syrian bath. The drama has been taken out of the Ramadan drama marathon, but will still give us something to feast on post- holy month.
The last drama Mustafa has agreed to is "Ya Mal Al Sham" for director Basil Al Khatib. Mustafa plays the role of 'Foad,' a Palestinian man living in Syria who is in contact with the Israeli Mosad. He works for the organization to send the Israelis living in Syria to back to Israel.
Can he pull all three off well? We’ll have to wait and see for sure, but share with us your thoughts by commenting below!
