A thousand dollars prevents filming of Angham’s clip
The famous Egyptian artist Angham just filmed a music video clip for her song, “Wahida Tohebak” (There Is One That Loves You) from her latest album released by “Rotana.”
According to the London daily Elaph, Angham worked with the Lebanese director Randa Alam for the first time. Filming of the new clip lasted for two days in Beirut.
The new clip is about a woman who meets a man at a private party where she falls in love with him.
The filming crew faced some problems at the museum filming site when trying to shoot the night scenes. The crew was unable to get permission to film on the museum’s steps.
A source that was on the filming site said that the museum requested US$1,000 to grant permission to film, but “Rotana” refused to pay.
Filming was postponed for another day, upsetting Angham, due to leave Beirut the next day, according to the source.
Angham had to leave Beirut and then returned to finish filming at a different location.
