Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi is continuing her journey successfully through the music world. She continues to break the record for most attended performances, the latest being in Muscat, which drew an audience of over 150 thousand.

According to the London based Elaph, Haifa recently held a spectacular performance in Tunisia after she received a special invitation from Tunisia’s Joy Youth Association. The head of the association presented the singer with an honorary award in front of 7 thousands spectators.

The singer also held a special Valentine’s Day concert in Tunisia organized by the same association.

Haifa recently traveled to Rome to enjoy a few days of relaxation and to attend events at the Italian Fashion Week. Internationally known Lebanese fashion designer Abdul Mahfouz invited Haifa as a guest of honor to attend his show for the spring-summer 2006 season. Haifa had immediately accepted the invitation, drawing coverage by the Italian and international media.

Haifa received the award for ‘most popular and influential figure for the year 2005’ from the Arab website Elaph. The site held a special poll, the first ever to be held by an Arab website, and Haifa garnered over 60% of the votes.
