Wael Jassar is trying to put a stop to circulating rumors that he knew the women who introduced him to the stage at his recent gig in Kuwait. Some were suggesting that he knew Ghada Al Sunni and demanded that she be replaced with Amani Al Kundari, but the Lebanses singer assured he doesn't know either of the ladies, thus the talk around town is total nonsense.
According to Sayidaty.net, Wael added that the organizing company of the event was the sole entity responsible for selecting who was to present the event. He was never consulted or even gave his opinion in the matter of choosing which woman would introduce his segment. He added that he came to Kuwait to sing only and not interfere in other matters.
Wael was pleased, though, with all the positive feedback he received from the concert, despite the chaos taking place in the region. Even though the world is on fire with the FIFA World Cup many faithful fans still made time to see their fave songster.
“We are only days away from the holy month of Ramadan and currently people are occupied watching the matches of the FIFA World Cup and despite these two factors, thousands of fans came to see me sing,” he said gratefully.
