Finally after endless disputes that have building on for months between Lebanese superstar Ragheb Alama and producer Muhsin Jabr, owner of Alam El Phan, a truce has been reached between the two sides. Alama agreed to the company’s condition of finalizing his upcoming album in order to be released by the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr.

According to the London based Elaph, Muhsin also agreed to shoot Ragheb’s upcoming music video for the song “Al Hub Al Kibeer” (The Big Love) in Italy and all necessary preparations are currently underway. With this truce, Mushin was able to save his company from a second blow, the first being when Egyptian pop-star Amr Diab left.

Recently, attempts of reconciliation between Jabr and Alama had failed, after each side refused to meet the conditions of the other. Ragheb had decided to end his cooperation with Alam El Phan completely after the later decided to postpone the release of his new album several times.

Alama had claimed that his album was ready four months ago and Jabr was temporizing the release because he is busy working with other singers in his company. Ragheb revealed to the media that a production company or a producer would not affect his relationship with his fans and he will release the album on his own expense if matters got worse.

The fruit of the cooperation between Jabr and Alama was two albums “Saharouni El Leil and Tab Leih” and the third one has not yet been released, which is what triggered thedispute between the two.

Muhsin revealed that he was able to save his company during the last two years after it had passed through some of its hardest time and was in danger of being ruined. Muhsin stressed that the problems his company went through were mainly due to rumors that were created by the media that rose to the surface with the appearance of new competitors. –Albawaba.com
