Syrian singer George Wassouf will kick off his last album's promotion tour in the upcoming few days, performing a number of concerts in several countries in the Arab World.
The Qatari daily, Al Bayan reported Thursday that the singer will also be shooting a music video for the album's hit "Irmi Al Shabak" (Throw the Net) with director Said Al Marruq.
The album “Inta Gheirhom” (You are Different), produced by Rotana Production Company, marked a strong comeback for Wassouf, after a two-year absence due to health problems.
Last April, the singer performed a concert in Baghdad, as part of Iraq's celebrations of President Saddam Hussein's birthday. Wassouf, who arrived to Baghdad in his first visit to the country, said that he is glad to visit Iraq and to perform his songs for the Iraqi audience in this occasion. – Albawaba.com
