One would think she would be relishing in her movie "Halawet Rouh" finally rolling its way into cinemas after having been banned by the government earlier this year, but Haifa Wehbe only stayed for 15 minutes at the film's long awaited premier.
The Lebanese singer quietly fled the Nile City Cinema in Egypt to escape the press and journalists that had surrounded her when she first entered the theater, reported Al Jaras magazine.
After her film got such a bad rap before, it makes total sense the diva would be a little cautious about how well her scandalous script would be received this time.
The film "Halawet Rouh" had finally received the approval to be screened in Egypt after it was previously banned by an official order from the Prime Minister of Egypt.
MTV Lebanon reported that a large sign was placed in front of the theater that read "The authentic version" to assure movie goers that the film was entirely rolled and none of the sexually explicit scenes were missing.
