Egyptian actor Yahya Al Fakhrani is preparing to shoot the TV series Abyad Abyad (White White), in which he plays a man who discovers that, despite being extraordinarily nice, he hasn't done anything in half a century.
The series tells the tale of Munther A’jroudi, who finds himself without wife or children, immersed in a daily life tht is nothing but a grinding routine.
As A’jroudi's life wears on, he finds himself one day implicated in a crime he did not commit, so he flees. Consequently, his life changes completely.
“Munther A’jroudi does not wear anything except white clothes and he is extraordinarily clean from inside. He likes all kinds of people, and dear friend describes him as a man with a white heart filled with affection, sympathy and humanity. Because of all of these traits, the series is called Abyad Abyad (White White), so that it will match with the events,” Fakhrani told the Arabic daily Al Bayan.
Costarring in the series, which was scripted by Osama Ghazi and is directed by Ahmed Saqer, are the stars of the TV soap opera Aydah, including Hanan Tork, Aminah Rizq, Mariam Fakhr Eddin, Ezzat Abu Auf and Safiyyah Al Omari.
In addition, Sanaa Gamil plays the role of Munther’s Mother.
Regarding his projects for next year, Fakhrani said, “the third part of Zizinia will be shot next year, since Osama Anwar Okashah is still writing the last part. I'll finish performing the role of Bisher Amer Al Thaher, with all the big changes in that character, which I consider the most important role I've played in the course of my long TV career.”
“This is in addition to shooting a series called Farouq Malikan (Farouq As A King)," he added, "a huge project which should be implemented by the government because it needs a hefty budget and tells about the history of our country.”
“The series will cover a very important era of our history from the birth until the death of the king. It will reveal many facts unknown to most people and correct many misconceptions, particularly the stepping down of the king not only for his personal behavior but also for his mistakes...All the characters are based on real people who played roles during that era. It is also about the king’s relationship with his mother, who had strong political views,” said Fakhrani - Albawaba.com
