Emirati singer Abdullah Belkhair, known for his unique personality and beloved, wil appear on the third episode of the television program “Nojoom Al Khalij 2008” (Gulf Countries Stars 2008), aired exclusively on all ‘Al Nojoom’ channels.
The new talent show is a musical contest between rising singers from Gulf countries.
The “Nojoom Al Khalij 2008” contest selects contestants that have demonstrated singing ability in Khaliji “Gulf Countries” dialect. So far signers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE and Yemen hold the leading scores.
According to the London daily Elaph, Lebanese singer Yara, known for her singing style in the Khaliji dialect also appeared on the third episode. She performed a collection of her khaliji songs. She dedicated a song, “Mata Ana Shofak” (When Will I See You), to the singer Abu Baker Salem, which made the audiences go wild.
Yara sang five songs from her first album, and the audience requested that she sing her famous song “Sodfah” (By Coincidence).
She told the audience how pleased she was to be part of the program.
