After undergoing a successful surgical operation at a Saudi hospital, Egyptian actor Yunes Shalabi will begin shooting his scenes in the evening television program Basyouni Tahet Al Qubbah (Basyouni at Parliament) directed by Amr Abdin and scripted by Ahmed Attiyyah.

Costarring with Shalabi are Al Sayyed Radi, Rashida and Sanaa Yunes.

The evening program is about politics, money and science. The illiterate but rich Basyouni runs for Parliament armed with his wealth, and competes with an educated opponent.

The tycoon’s son tries to steal his father’s money by pretending to make campaign materials for him. At last Basyouni discovers that the way to Parliament begins with illiteracy eradication classes.

Meanwhile, Shalabi has wrapped up the shooting of his scenes as a guest of honor in the film Ameer Athalam (Prince of Darkness) along with Adel Imam and Shireen Seif Al Naser, under the direction of Rami Adel - Albawaba.com
