Yusra’s rituals in Ramadan

The famous Egyptian actress Yusra said that she doesn’t leave her house in Ramadan and keeps busy preparing for her family and friends whom she invites over for Iftar (break of fast). She stated that she only leaves her home when she goes for morning prayers at “Al Sayedah Nifisah” Mosque, because she feels very comfortable there.
Yusra got used to spending “Sahoor” time when she eats at night before the morning hours at “Al Saydah Nifisah” Mosque, which is the same Mosque that all the celebrities and politician go to. Everyone who goes there says that they feel very comfortable. Yusra adds that she has a special connection to the Ramadan lanterns and feels that they are a necessity during Ramadan.
As for her acting career, the new television drama series “Fe Aydi Aminah” (In Safe Hands) is being aired on television channels during the holy month of Ramadan. Yusra plays the role of a very honest journalist who fights corruption in society. She faces many problems and threats but never gives up, because she is determined to make the world around her a better place to live in. In the series Yusra fights those who kidnap children and sell them to rich families who employ them while still underage. Some even use them in begging, stealing and selling drugs.
The new series is based on a true story where newspaper photographer Adel Mbaris went through the same events as he covered a story between Egypt and Jordan. The scenario is written by Muhammad Al Safti. The series stars Hisham Salim, Rojina, Jihan Fadel, Mahmoud Al Jundi, Osama Abas, Khayryeh Ahmad and Ehab Fahmi. The series is directed by Muhammad Azizah and is considered to be the second time he works with Yusra, where he directed her previous drama series “Qadiyat Rai Am” (A matter of public opinion.)
