Egyptian actress/singer Yusra has decided that she wants a collection of romantic songs for her new album which she hopes to release by the end of the summer. She has asked the poets she is working with to write songs that are love related and romantic refraining from the theme of heartache, suffering, and despair to go with the trend that is now taking over the music industry.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, along her artistic commitments to the cinema and TV, Yusra is gearing to release her new album by the end of summer to make sure that all other singers by that time would have already released their albums and there would be no competition. She has undergone preparations to begin work on her second album that will be produced by France's Universal Studios. Universal will undergo all shooting of video clips for the new album. Yusra will be singing in three different languages throughout the album.
Yusra’s previous song that combines the participation of a large number of kids as the script is about the suffering of the Palestinian child was screened at Cairo International Film Festival.
Yusra won the prize as best actress for her role in the film al A’sefah (Thunderstorm) directed by Khaled Yousef at the Egyptian Oscar Awards.
In december last year, the International house of fashion for Christian Dior has nominated Egyptian actress Yusra as the best female that perfectly fits their required description to exhibit the latest fashions and accessories in the Middle East according to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Bridget Lofiqi, the Middle East marketing representative for Christian Dior, told the daily that the decision fell on the Egyptian actress due to her elegance in style & character, and her beautiful face. She also added that she fits all the required descriptions to best represent their fashion in the most successful picture. Yusra these days depends heavily on constantly changing her style making it a point to present herself in the best newest way possible to her audience. –Albawaba.com
