Yusra nominated to walk in the footsteps of Princess Diana

Egyptian scenarist Midhat Al Adel has nominated prominent Egyptian actress Yusra for the role of the late Princess Diana in the new drama made for television “Al Far’oun Al Masri” (the Egyptian Pharaoh). The drama tackles the story of Diana and Dodi Al Fayed, who was her lover and killed with her in the same car. 

 

Midhat is scheduled to travel to London to negotiate with Mohammad Al Fayed, Dodi’s father, regarding the issues to be tackled in the drama. Egyptian actor Mahmoud Abdul Aziz has been nominated to costar with Yusra and play the role of Dodi, reported the London based Elaph.  

 

The recurring rumors of stars being assassinated or suddenly dying of mysterious diseases have come to be the highlight of most tabloids. The latest rumor targeted Egyptian actress Yusra saying that she has passed away mysteriously. In a personal phone call made to the actress to ensure the validity of the rumor, Yusra was shocked to learn of the latest circulating rumors stressing that she is enjoying perfect health and there is absolutely nothing wrong with her.  

 

Yusra added that she was not faced with any attack recently, or had gotten sick to cause such rumors to rise. The actress added that people who create such devastating rumors surely have no respect for others nor do they value the essence of life.  

 

Yusra has decided to focus all her attention on the upcoming film “Reesh Al Na’am” (Feathers of Ostriches), which is scheduled to begin shooting of scenes in January 2004. the film is under the direction of Khaled Yousef and Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz will be costarring alongside Yusra. Yusra announced that she refrained from accepting any other work for the time until she completes shooting all the scenes for “Feathers of Ostriches”. The actress stressed that rumors about her participation in the film “Qisit Hubb” (Love Story) alongside Egyptian prominent actor Ahmad Zaki holds no truth to it. She added that she never held any kind of discussion with Ahmad over starring in a film together.  

 

Yusra denied circulating rumors that she has gotten a divorce from her second husband over disputes that had been going on for some time, and resulted in a quiet separation between them. Yusra also denies rumors that she is involved in a new affair with young Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz El Din, who costarred with her in the Ramadan TV drama series “Malak Rouhi” (King of My Soul).  

 

Yusra stressed that she is outraged over the rumors that have been created saying she does not know where people come up with such senseless gossip. She added that she is still married to her husband, Khalid Salim, and the two are enjoying a very happy and stable marriage. –Albawaba.com
