Zee Qar Battle: Joint Arabic Series Costing 7 Million Dollars
The great historical series “Zee Qar” is currently being photographed at the Dead Sea and Rum Valley in Jordan. The series is directed by Basel al-Khateeb, screenplayed by Jamal Abu Hamdan and produced by the Arab Center for Audiovisual Services, according to press reports.
The London-based Ashark Al Awsat Arabic daily said that a number of elite Arab stars from Syria, Jordan and Qatar including Asa'd Faddah, Khaled Taja, Ali Hasan, Norman Asa’d, Muna Wasef, Nasser Abdul Rida, Hisham Hnaidi, Shafiqa al-Tel, Fuad al-Shomali, Wael Najm, Aref al-Tawil, Maha al-Masri, Radwan Ukaili, Najah Safkouni, Rasheeid Malhas, and other Arab elite artists play roles in the landmark series.
Two million dollars have been allocated as a budget for the series in addition to five millions for the support services such as decorations, accessories and clothes and very many other items that suit the bright side of this historical battle in the glorious era of the Arab history.
The series explore the life of “Hind Bint al-Noman” as a basic element in it, in addition to the emotionally charged human stories which are of no less importance than the great event itself.
