Etihad launches special fare sale to seoul

To mark the launch of its operations to South Korea, Etihad Airways has unveiled special fare deals to Seoul, including 'two for one' Coral Economy class fares and discounted fares in Pearl Business class.

From now until December 31, customers who purchase a ticket in Coral Economy class from Abu Dhabi to Seoul will be offered one free Coral Economy ticket to Seoul valid for outbound travel from December 10 to December 31*.

Discounted fares for travel from Abu Dhabi to Seoul in Pearl Business class start from as low as AED 13,330**. The sales period runs until December 15, with the outbound travel period valid from December 10 until February 10, 2011.

Members of the airline's award-winning Etihad Guest loyalty program can also earn double Etihad Guest miles when travelling to Seoul, valid until January 10, 2011.

Hareb Al-Muhairy, Etihad's Vice President of UAE Sales, said: "I am delighted to announce these highly competitive fare deals to South Korea, one of the most important growth markets in our expanding network.

"We anticipate a lot of interest from guests travelling to Seoul for business or leisure, in addition to guests visiting family and friends in the South Korean capital."

Etihad's inaugural flight to Seoul, EY876, will depart Abu Dhabi at 10:45pm on December 10, arriving at Seoul's Incheon Airport at 12:05pm on 11 December (local times).

Etihad will operate a daily A330-200 three-class service to Seoul, offering 2,800 seats each week on the route.
