International Ceramic City (ICC), one of the UAE’s latest developments set to become a strategic business-to-business platform specialising in ceramic building materials, has signed an agreement with the world's largest ceramic tiles & bathware manufacturing company, RAK Ceramics.
Under the agreement, RAK Ceramics will open a 5,200 square foot showroom, one of the largest at ICC once the development opens for business later this year, with an option to add an additional 5,000 square feet.
ICC is an international destination which offers a one-stop-shop for manufacturers and buyers around the globe, providing a strategic platform for manufacturers to showcase and trade their products locally and internationally. ICC’s collaboration with well-established manufacturers such as RAK Ceramics is key as it approaches its formal opening in November this year.
Speaking about the agreement, Mr. Naseer Ahmed CEO of ICC said, “It is a proud moment for us to announce RAK Ceramics as a partner. RAK Ceramics is a USD 1 billion global conglomerate with presence in 150 countries, offering a product portfolio comprising over 8,000 designs in ceramic tiles, and several models in bath ware. RAK Ceramics, for the past 2 years, has been listed in ‘Super Brands’, an influential listing of the world’s top brands.

ICC aims to play a key role in contributing to new projects by providing a platform for manufacturers to showcase world-class ceramics products for the construction industry. A strategic business-to-business platform which encompasses an area of around 400,000 square feet and a total investment of USD 120 million (AED 440.4 million), ICC will be a year round showcase for manufacturers to meet project procurement teams and decision makers across the region in real estate sector to interact on a one-on-one basis.
