Jazeera Airways crosses the one-million passenger mark for 2010
Award-winning airline Jazeera Airways announced today that it had crossed the one million passenger mark for 2010 in September, bringing the total number of flown passengers since establishment in 2005 to 6.5 million, or two times the total population of Kuwait in just five years. Jazeera Airways celebrates its fifth anniversary on October 30.
The airline also announced that is awarding the millionth passenger, Mr Essam Al Ameir, with two free Jazeera Business class tickets, open to any destination served by Jazeera Airways.
Throughout 2010, the airline has maintained market dominating positions, according to Kuwait Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA)'s publicly available monthly reports.
Today, Jazeera Airways is the largest operator on all its routes with the exception of Jeddah and Riyadh, where the airline is restricted to a lower seat allocation versus other Kuwaiti airlines.
