Ahmad Al Rayan outraged with Khaled Saleh

In the first response
to the television drama “Al Rayan” currently aired on different satellite
channels, Ahmad Al Rayan, whom the story of the drama is about, stated that the
drama insulted him and ruined his prominent reputation. Ahmad, who is a very
well-known economist, stated that the makers of the drama added so many events
to the story that never occurred losing its validity. He added that such additions are against the
terms of the contract he signed with the producing company when he agreed to
turn his life story into a drama.
Maha Al Rayan,
daughter of Ahmad, said that the drama portrayed her father as a con artist and
a polygamist. She added that the theme song of the drama and the advertisements
show her father and her uncle in an incorrect image and as drug smugglers.
According to the London
based Elaph, Ahmad has begun taking the necessary steps to file a lawsuit
against the producing company of the drama, despite the fact that one of the
terms in the contract between Ahmad and the company state that Ahmad has no
right to interfere in the drama or the right to read the script. Filming of the
scenes took place without Ahmad’s presence and his only contributions were
through giving his story to the writers of the drama.

prominent Egyptian actor Khaled Saleh, Riham Abd Al Ghafour and Durrah. It is
written by Hazem Al Hadidi and Mahmoud Al Bazawi and directed by Shireen Adel.
