Asalah defies Syrian government

Syrian singer Asalah Nasri announced that she refuses to travel to Syria and join Syrian stars in their support for the current Syrian government and President Bashar Al Assad. Asalah said that Syrian stars are “putting on an act fearing for their careers and even their lives.”
Asalah said that she is devastated over the conditions in Syria and the crimes being committed against protesters and revolutionaries opposing the current regime.
“If I was not pregnant I would immediately go to Syria and join protesters who are fighting for their lives and defying the dictatorial government,” she said.
Asalah sent out a message to all revolutionists telling them that the future is theirs and their suffering and bloodshed will eventually end and will provide a safe and secure place for generations to come.
The government and army will pay dearly for the torture and violence they are committing against the protesters, she added.

as far as i know she was treated by Syria money, not by president personal account. and your attempt to use bad words and cursing is really an indication of who you are not who she is. it take courage to do what she has done, but it take a coward to say what your are saying
I could not be more impressed. Artists should always be on the side of people who carried them on their shoulders and gave them fame and fortune. They owe their success to the people not the governments. They need to always remember that the side of the people is eventually the winning side no matter how long it takes.
