Mustafa Qamar ends tax dilemma
Lawyer of Egyptian singer Mustafa Qamar was able to reach a settlement with the Egyptian Taxation Commission and put an end to the singer’s tax dilemma. The settlement was reached after the singer ended up paying 541 thousand Egyptian pounds in overdue taxes.
By ending the disputes, Mustafa’s previous sentence of serving one year in jail for attempting to ignore paying off all due taxes was dismissed.
A court had sentenced Mustafa to a one year imprisonment and a fine of 100 Egyptian pounds.
