Samira Saeed follows in the footsteps of Amro Diab and Fadel Shaker
Going down the same path previously taken by Egyptian singers Amro Diab, Shireen Abdul Wahab, Angham and Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker, Moroccan singer Samira Saeed decided to experiment with launching a ‘Mini Album’. Samira stressed that she wants her release to be unique this year and so will release the mini album, but at first will release a single in the upcoming few days.
Samira’s decision is becoming the most appropriate solution for singers who want to keep their presence in the music scene during rough times when producers are backing out of producing as many albums as before. Production companies are claiming that they are losing large sums of money due to pirating of albums on the internet.
According to the London based Elaph, Samira revealed that she is almost complete with her mini album and will hopefully be ready for release at the beginning of the upcoming winter season. The album will feature from four to five songs, and has so far chosen three songs. The singer stated that she will be producing the album herself in attempt by her to experience music production.
