Lebanon cracks down or picks on Bad Drivers- spoilt for choice!

Bad-drivers or as Lebanon's popular LBC campaign calls them 'Douche-bag' drivers: driving while text-messaging on cell phone.
Cheyef 7alak – Honoring Lebanese douchebag drivers
"LBC International started a cool new website called “Cheyef 7alak” aimed to track irresponsible drivers. The idea behind the initiative is very simple, whenever you spot some bad driver/biker/pedestrian, take a photo of him/her and upload it to their website or Facebook page, and leave it to them to publish it and give those douchebags the attention they’re seeking!"

Israeli Intelligence Leaks Alleged Syrian Memo Claiming Government Support for Nakba Day Protests
Oh dear. Well we've been hearing much talk and 'conspiracy' about Syrian troubles being more instigated and stirred up by outside opportunistic elements than any other Arab Spring-ing nation. But now this from a horse's mouth:
"A former high ranking Israeli government source revealed to me that Israeli intelligence leaked to a pro-Israel British tabloid blogger an alleged Syrian government document claiming that the Syrian government organized the bus convoys which brought demonstrators to the Syria-Israel armistice line on Nakba Day. Demonstrations on that day were met with murderous IDF fire killing 14 individuals."

Bike Day in Beirut
I you brave enough to bike in Beirut- safety in numbers at least...
"A Bike Day was held today in Beirut as part of The Danish Cultural Week. Via Facebook, Green Wheels encouraged their fans to bike to work, and bicycles were even made available for free at Beirut by Bike and Bike Generation. Later in the day, the association led a symbolic ride from Gemmayze to BIEL (downtown), where cyclists gathered at the Beirut by Bike checkpoint."

No Regrets
"He was undergoing a metatarsal amputation of the right foot, which means they were chopping off all his toes at the same time. They had already taken his left leg just below the knew. Diabetes tends to do that to you if you don't treat it with the respect and care it deserves."
