Prof. Ali Badran lecturing
Jordan University students joined LG AC Academy’s training workshop in Multi V systems, the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East, for one day at LG Electronics Headquarters. The workshop was supervised by Vice Faculty Dean of Jordan University’s Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Ali Badran, where he was introduced to the MultiV Technology for Central Air Conditioning.
This training workshop was held in keeping with Prof. Ali Badran’s recommendations after he visited with a number of faculty members at Jordan University’s Faculty of Engineering three months ago. He discussed with them LG AC Academy’s initiatives and great potential, and the unique training it offers.
30 students took part in the LG AC Academy training, and showed immense interest and interaction in the training topics that were raised during the one-day workshop. Attendees were highly impressed with the technology and efficacy of the tools used, as this allowed them to acquire practical experience that will help them in their future careers.
Commenting on the workshop’s success, Prof. Ali Badran said, “The LG AC Academy is truly a one-of-a-kind academy in Jordan. It offers specialized hands-on training for students and engineers who specialize in this particular field. I have watched closely the high efficiency of the training it offers, and the latest industry trends and practices it uses to deliver the information to students in the most accurate manner.”
Prof. Ali Badran added, “I am very proud to be part of such an educational and enlightening program, and also to be observing the great development that Jordan’s education sector is witnessing.”
In response to its growing success, the LG Electronics Air Contenting Academy in Amman, is looking to partner with a number of education institutions and hold training workshops for students. The Jordan University Administration also chose the LG AC Academy to conduct a training course in MultiV for a number of students, and have them write a report about their learnings.
Commenting on the course’s proceedings, LG Air Conditioning Academy’s Manager, Eng. Hussam Ebbini said that the universities and colleges’ eagerness to cooperate with the LG AC Academy is proof of the high level of training the academy offers, saying: “We are now reaping the fruit of our constant efforts at the academy. The LG AC Academy prepares its graduates for their successful careers in the air conditioning industry, and that makes us very proud.”
He further added, “Students are our priority, as we feel it is our role to educate them on the latest in the world of technology.”
It is worth mentioning that the LG AC Academy has achieved massive success during its short period of operation. The Academy has actively trained over 500 individuals from diverse sectors including students, engineers, contractors and consultants from Jordan and the Middle East. It is proud of what it has achieved to date, but it still feels that the sky is the limit as to where it strives to go.
