LG Exclusive Hardware Sponsor of Microsoft Open Door Conference

LG Electronics, the leading global manufacturer in the field of communications and information technology, has been the exclusive hardware sponsor of the Microsoft Open Door 2010 Conference held recently in Amman.

The Conference, organized by Microsoft, shed light on new technology that combines the internet, information centers, mobile phones, and the traditional computer features. It also tackled the latest developments regarding cloud computing and the possibilities of replacing previous applications.

LG's sponsorship and participation in this event aimed at supporting Microsoft with respect to hardware requirements and displaying its brand and technical products in the field of technical cloud computing "Digital Signals" and strengthened its relationship with Microsoft.

"We have exclusively sponsored the Microsoft hardware in this exceptional event, as we have introduced digital technology through the 2x2 size video wall installer at the Exhibit Hall at the site of the event" – Mr. Kevin Cha, Managing Director of LG Electronics Levant.

During the venue, LG exhibited some of its products including LCD monitors connected to the Xbox, 3D LCD screens, video wall (digital), and network monitors.

The two-day event hosted specialized seminars of information technology and cloud computing, which utilized the video wall as a means to support the display of the content of the seminars to the public.
