Killing in Dubai
Dubai police chief on Monday insisted that a suspect was arrested abroad in relation to the killing of top Hamas military officer earlier this year. Details of the arrest are secret, according to Lt. Gen. Dahi Khalfan Tamim. The arrest took place in a Western country about two months ago, he told The National newspaper. It is beleived that Israel's Mossad is behind the killing.
Tamim said the suspect is not believed to be European. "The suspect who was arrested played a key role in the killing, but we were informed by the ambassador ... that they did not wish to release the information," Tamim added.
