French planes attack military targets in Libya

Foreign forces on Saturday started their attacks in Libya by targeting military vehicles. According to the French defense ministry, a French plane launched the assault against pro-Gaddafi forces around 16:45 on Saturday.
The French plane destroyed its target, according to a military spokesman. French planes also flew reconnaissance missions over "all Libyan territory", French military sources said earlier.
Around 20 French aircraft were involved in Saturday's operation, a defense ministry official told Reuters.
The assault came hours after Western and Arab leaders met in Paris and discussed how to deal with the situation in Libya.
