Gaza Strip: Three Palestinians killed by Israeli fire
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said three Palestinians were killed early Thursday near the settlement of what was known as "Dugit", north of the Gaza Strip. The medical sources said they had recovered the bodies from the area near Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip after the Israeli army allowed ambulances to enter.
The bodies were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahiya.
The Israeli army said its forces had killed three Palestinians in the north of the Gaza Strip, after they were trying to sneak into its territories.
Earlier, Palestinian sources said that they heard the sound of heavy gunfire.
Salam Abu Adham, spokesman for the ambulance and emergency services in the Gaza Strip said the victims were fishermen, identified as Jihad Fathi Khalaf (20 years old), Talat Alrwagh )25 years old) and Ashraf Aktifan (29 years old).
