Israel kills three Hamas members in Gaza Strip
Israeli aircraft targeted a civilian car carrying three Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Saturday. According to medical sources in the Palestinian territory, three Palestinians were killed. One charred body arrived at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah.
Local sources confirmed that the dead are members of Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas. They were identified as Ismail Labad his brother Mohammed from the Shati refugee camp and Mohammed Daya from al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
Witnesses said that civil defense crews and ambulances rushed to the scene to extinguish the blaze, which broke out in the white Subaru car.
An Israeli military spokesman said that the Israeli air strike targeted a "terrorist cell who was planning to kidnap Israelis during the Jewish holiday of Passover."
Hamas issued a statement condemning the attack, describing it as a "serious escalation."
