Israeli Mossad kidnaps Palestinian engineer in Ukraine
The Ukrainian police said Thursday they are checking claims about the disappearance of a Palestinian engineer in Ukraine, while his Ukrainian wife has accused the Israeli intelligence (Mossad) of kidnapping him. There are reports he is now at an Israeli prison near the city of Ashkelon.
The 32-year old wife asked the police to help her locate the the 42-year old engineer Derar Abu Sissi. The spokesman for the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Sergei Burelakov told AFP stated that "according to the wife of this man, he could now be in Israel."
Abu Sisi is the technical director of the only power plant in the Gaza Strip. He is a father of six children and went missing on February 19 while travelling a train between the city of Kharkiv and the city of Kiev. Abu Sisi is a well-known Hamas supporter.
