At least 22 dead in Iraq blast

At least 22 people have been killed and 30 others injured in a suicide bombing near Baghdad. The attack occurred on Friday at a cafe usually filled with Kurds in Balad Ruz, a town northeast of Baghdad.

Local officials expect the death toll to increase.

The blast was the first major suicide bomb attack to occur in Iraq for several weeks.
