Nasrallah: Talks with Israel fruitless
On the occasion of Jerusalem Day, Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah on Friday Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. "Jerusalem cannot be the eternal capital of the State of Israel, but is the capital of Palestine, the capital of heaven and earth.
"Israel is an illegitimate state, inhumane. It has usurped Palestinian territories. Negotiations with the enemy, Israel, are fruitless. They could only give Israel more legitimacy.
Nasrallah also slammed the revived Middle East peace talks. "The majority of Palestinian factions rejected such negotiations," he said. "We say to the whole world that the challenges have not changed a single letter in our fundamental principles, although some fell in the middle of the road.
