“2010 Dubai Classic Car Auction" at Times Square Center
Leo Sterling, UAE’s premier select property portfolio managers, has revealed that a significant part of the proceeds from the "2010 Dubai Classic Car Auction" it is organising in collaboration with auto accessory superstore Yellow Hat on April 9th will be donated to Dubai Autism Center, in line with efforts to raise much-needed awareness about Autism. Through this, Leo Sterling and Yellow Hat also aim to support Dubai Autism Center’s efforts to educate the public about the growing incidence of Autism and the importance of early diagnosis and intervention.
The "2010 Dubai Classic Car Auction" that will be held at Times Square Center (TSC) will auction off the largest collection of classic cars in Dubai. The event is also being supported by Desert Warriors Dubai, a leading motorcycle club in the UAE that is committed to driving awareness for social causes.
Anthony J O’Donnell, General Manager, Times Square Center, said: “Our partnership with Dubai Autism Center is a small measure of our efforts in working with the local community and helping build a better life for children with Autism. We are confident that our support will in some way contribute to raising awareness about Autism and the role of the corporate sector and the community as a whole in supporting children with Autism.”
Laura Martorano, CEO and Founder of Leo Sterling, said: “Our support to Dubai Autism Center reinforces our belief that the private sector has to play a vital role in the development of the community. It is the duty of all sectors of industry to come forward and support those who are less fortunate and challenged physically or mentally. There are many who are not aware of what Autism means and what we, as organisations, can do to help children with Autism. It is our objective to support all the efforts towards developing the services of Dubai Autism Center and to further enhance its capabilities, especially as this center is completely dependant on contributions and donations.”
Hayula Mourad, Head of Business Support and Communications at Dubai Autism Center, said, “As a non profit organisation, we always appreciate the community’s involvement in our cause. We sincerely thank Leo Sterling and Yellow Hat for their efforts to help us enhance our services, and through their support we hope to raise not just the funding but also the much required awareness about Autism."
