Israeli forces detained 12 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank overnight Saturday, local and Israeli sources told Ma'an.
Local sources said three Palestinians were detained in the southern occupied West Bank district of Hebron. Each of the detainees were taken in separate raids in Hebron city, Dura village and Der Samet village.
In addition to the detainments, Israeli forces raided two printing houses in Hebron on the grounds that the two companies were printing "inciting materials."
An Israeli army spokesperson said Israeli forces "confiscated materials from Infinity and Lamsat printing houses, as the printing houses distributed inciting materials, including propaganda for the Hamas terror organization."
The spokesperson added that she could only confirm one detention in Hebron, which took place during a combined operation with Israeli forces and Israel's Civil Administration.
In the southern occupied West Bank district of Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained at least five Palestinian during overnight raids, local sources said.
Locals said Israeli forces detained two brothers identified as Alaa Obayat, 24, and Malek Obayat, 20, as well as Zuhair Faisal Hassan, 32, Mustafa Muhammad Odah, 25 and Waleed Ameen Adwiya, 22.
An Israeli army spokesperson only confirmed three arrests in the Bethlehem district. The spokesperson said one of the Palestinians who was detained was taken into custody on the grounds of being "an active Hamas operative," while two more were detained for "suspected terrorist activity."
The two Obayat brothers were detained from their homes in the al-Obayat village, east of Bethlehem City. The patriarch of the family, Awad Muhammad Obayat, alleged that Israeli forces ransacked the family home after detaining the young men, and stole 25,000 Jordanian Dinar ($35,233) as well as 5,000 Jordanian Dinar ($7,046) worth of gold.
Awad added that two of his other sons are already being held in Israeli prison.
The other three men detained in Bethlehem were taken from the district's Jorat al-Shama village during a detention raid.
In al-Eizariya, just outside of Bethlehem, Israeli forces detained two more Palestinians who have not yet been identified.
Israeli forces also detained two more Palestinians from the village of Kafr Dan in the northern occupied West Bank district of Jenin.
Israeli forces have detained thousands of Palestinians since a wave of unrest swept the occupied Palestinian territory at the beginning of October. There are now estimated to be some 6,700 Palestinians in Israel's prisons.
