Abdullah II offers condolences to Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz
According to PETRA, His Majesty King Abdullah II on Tuesday offered condolences to King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz Custodian Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ben Abdul Aziz over the passing away of late King Fahid and take part in the funeral ceremony.
In a statement to Jordanian Television and other Arab mass media His Majesty the King expressed his sincere condolences and deep sympathies over the death of late King Fahid. King Abdullah affirmed that we in Jordan will never forget the brotherly stance of King Fahid beside Jordan in turbulent circumstances, adding King Fahid was discerning, courageous and great Arab leader in defending the Arab and Islamic issues. King Abdullah Affirmed Jordan's stance beside the brothers in Saudi Arabia.
Queen Rania accompanied by Princess Noor Hamzah offered condolences to Princess Jouharah Bent Ibraheem the spouse of late King Fahid and Saudi Princesses at Al Yamameh Palace in Riyadh.
Princes Feisal, Hamzah, Hashem, Prime Minister Adnan Badran, President of Senate House Zeid Al Rifai, Lower House Speaker Abdul Hadi Majali, the Chief of Royal Court Faisal Fayez, King's Advisor for Islamic Affairs and Chief Justice Izzideen Al Khateb, King's Advisor Ahmad Helayel, Chairman of Joint Staff General Khaled Sarayreh, and Jordan's Ambassador to Riyadh Khoftan Majali.
Arab, Islamic and world Leaders took part in the funeral ceremony today.
