Accord Near in Abu Dhabi Fish Dispute
The Abu Dhabi Fishermen's Society Sunday expressed hope that the dispute which has led to high prices and severe shortages will be resolved soon, The Gulf News reported Monday.
A society official was quoted by the paper as saying that expatriate fishermen would soon go back to sea because negotiations with local fishermen to force their employees to return were showing progress.
"We expect things to return to normal in four or five days, with the protesting expatriate fishermen resuming operations," the official added -- Albawaba.com
