ADNH Travco to launch services next month
Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) Travco, the newly established travel and tourism operator announced today that the company will launch its services next month.
The launch was announced on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2007), currently being held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, May 1-4, 2007.
Ayman Ahmad Fouad, Manager of ADNH Travco said: “Our aim in establishing the company is to promote the UAE’s tourism potential within the region and globally.”
“In the first phase of our operations, we will promote the UAE as a tourism destination and organize tours to the country. Our main focus will be on promoting the UAE’s natural ecology, pristine beaches, rugged mountains, deserts, the Arab culture and the UAE heritage.”
“In the next phase we will concentrate on the inbound and outbound tourism and provide integrated tourism services to the Middle East and Southeast Asia.”
Expressing his satisfaction with the company’s participation at ATM, Fouad said: “This is our first ATM and we are very pleased with the interest from industry professionals in travel and tourism.”
ADNH Travco was established this year via a partnership between Sunshine Tours, a division of ADNH and Travco Travel, a leading travel group based in Egypt. It aims to develop new travel, tourism and hospitality related projects in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, and expand into other regions. The new company will also organize tours in the UAE and the Middle East.
Abu Dhabi National Hotels was established more than 30 years ago and since then has grown in both size and diversity into a quality, broad-based hotel, tourism, transport and catering group. ADNH interests include a range of moderate to luxury hotels in addition to Sunshine Tours and its transportation business Al Ghazal. In addition, ADNH has a joint venture with the catering and services company Compass, covering its respective catering operations in the Middle East under the banner ADNH/Compass.
With over two decades experience in the Middle East region, Travco today offers travelers to UAE the benefits of one of the most experienced travel organization in the country. The parent company is a 50% partner of TUI, Europe's largest, and most experienced, tour operator. For the past two years, Travco, with 100% ownership operations in Dubai, has been steadfastly approaching the higher rankings of the UAE's lead players in the travel and tourism industry, due, in part, to the company's uncompromising standards of excellence. In the past few years, Travco’s range of operations also included Qatar, Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman.
