Ahmadinejad: Iran to cut hands of enemies
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the his country's armed forces would cut hands of enemies before they can target Iran. Addressing a ceremony to mark the Sacred Defense Week marking the anniversary of the US-backed Iraqi invasion of Iran (September 22, 1980), the Iranian leader said that if anybody dares to transgress the boundaries of the Iranian nation, the country's armed forces will cut his hand before he can pull the trigger.
According to IRNA, he reiterated that however, the Iranian nation seeks friendship, brotherhood, and normal relations with all world nations.
Different units of Iran's military forces marched in uniform before the president in a show of military and defense power. Foreign delegates, military and civilian officials have taken part in the ceremony at the site of the parade.
