Al Kubaisi gives lecture at Dubai Customs on "Individuals Reward in helping to build mosques"
Dubai- The Islamic Preacher Sheikh Doctor Ahmed Al Kubaisi stressed that participating in building mosques is a form of a worthy business with Allah. He said that individuals who seek to build mosques regardless of the size is extremely rewarded and cherished by Allah.
Al Kubaisi stated the aforementioned in a lecture he gave at Dubai Customs last Thursday, August 27th, 2009 entitled with "Individuals Reward in helping to build mosque" as part of a series of lectures the Department is holding for its employees during the holy month of Ramadan.
Doctor Al Kubaisi gave his lecture after he had witnessed the signing of an agreement between Dubai Customs and Al Maktoum Charitable Organization to build a mosque.
The lecture that lasted for an hour was attended by a large number of executive directors, senior managers and sections' managers and departments as well as some employees. During the lecture, he talked about the Muslim's reward in helping to build mosques regardless of the size of the contribution and the reward gained from praying in the mosques and helping them prosper. Moreover, he talked about Al Qadr Night, its importance and advantages besides all good actions that are multiplied. He confirmed that building mosques is a sort of a worthy business with Allah.
The lecture is part of a series of religious lectures Dubai Customs is holding for its employees during the holy month of Ramadan which take place at the Department's headquarters. The lectures are inline with Al Khair Customs Campaign through which various charitable, humanitarian, religious and cultural activities and events occur during the holy month of Ramadan, some of which are organized in cooperation with charitable organizations in the UAE.
Dubai Customs signed an agreement to build a mosque with Al Maktoum Charitable Association last Thursday. According to the agreement, Dubai Customs finances the project as an Islamic Waqf whereas Al Maktoum Association will sponsor the building of the mosque.
Sheikh Doctor Ahmed Al Kubaisi commended this good step through which Dubai Customs lends a hand to a charitable organization to build a mosque. He also said that this initiative infused by a government department is honorable.
