Algeria’s counter-terrorism unit arrests wanted militant

A wanted militant was arrested Wednesday in the province of Ouargla by security services as part of counter-terrorism, the National Defence ministry announced in a communiqué.
"As part of counterterrorism, a terrorist wanted by security services has been arrested today 23 March 2016 in the province of Ouargla (4th military region)," the same source added.
Besides and as part of the fight against organized crime, "three (3) smugglers have been apprehended while two (2) ATVs and 3,200 litres of fuel have been seized in In Guezzam (6th military region)," the source stated.
In Tlemcen (2nd military region), thirteen (13) illegal immigrants have been arrested," the ministry said.
