Algerian President to visit Japan
Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is expected to visit Japan between December 5 to 8 at the invitation of Japanese Premier Junichiro Koizumi, it was announced on Saturday.
During his visit, President Bouteflika will be received by the Emperor of Japan, who will hold a dinner party in his honour, the official source added, cited by APS.
The President is also expected to have talks with Japan's Premier, set to focus on “the ways and means for developing the bilateral relations, as well as regional and international topical issues of interest to both countries.”
This official working visit, the first paid by an Algerian Head of State to Japan, “shall help strengthen the friendship and cooperation relations existing between the two countries,” the source concluded. (Albawaba.com)
