Another attack on foreigners in Saudi Arabia: American shot dead in Riyadh
Gunmen killed an American in the Saudi capital of Riyadh Tuesday, Reuters reported. The dead US national worked for an American contracting company - Vinnel, the U.S. embassy and the firm said. Vinnel is a unit of Northrop Grumman Corp, which helps train the Saudi National Guard.
It was the fifth assault on Westerners in the kingdom in five weeks.
Gunmen in a car fired at the American before fleeing in an eastern suburb of Riyadh, security sources said.
Tuesday's incident comes a few days after suspected al Qaeda gunmen killed a BBC cameraman in Riyadh. (Albawaba.com)
