Arafat Leaves Saudi Arabia after Talks with King, Crown Prince
Palestinian President Yasser Arafat left Saudi Arabia Tuesday after holding discussions in Riyadh on the Middle East peace process, as well as bilateral relations and general Arab and Islamic topics, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Arafat met with King Fahd and with Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz during his one-day visit.
He had been accompanied by the Palestine Liberation Organization's number two, Mahmoud Abbas.
"The meeting dealt with the prospects for bilateral cooperation, the situation in the Arab and Islamic world and the latest developments in the peace process," SPA said.
